TikTok's focus is on short-form content. However, many users are trying to squeeze more information into one post.
TikTok is one of the most popular social media platforms. This is due to its wealth of trending filters and songs, as well as the short funny videos that are available on the app.
Many are curious if there are any options to upload longer videos and increase the user base.
TikTok defaults to recording for 15 seconds. This was the limit in TikTok's past, but it has been changed recently by TikTok.
How to alter the length of your video:
The red circle will allow you to start recording. Your TikTok video will now register for 60 seconds. You can also record for less than 60 seconds.
This change only changes the limit to 15 to 60 seconds. If you want the recording to stop, press the recording button at any time.
This isn't the only way to go. You can also specify how long the video records, down to the tenth of a second.
So you can choose how long you want to record. The recording time slider can be handy if you need a specific video length and don't want the button to stop it from being re-recorded.

Another way to make TikTok 60 seconds long is by using the following method. This method allows you to upload a video that you have shot using an app other than TikTok.
This method is different because it will enable you to upload videos longer than 60 seconds. Prior methods allowed for 60 seconds maximum.

The video can then be cut to the desired length. The slider mechanism used in this feature is the same as the previous one. Once you've set the length, click the red "Next" button at the top right.
After you have cut down the video's time, you can add special effects or other filters to your video before you upload it.

You can also record and post a 3-minute clip on TikTok or a longer movie of 60 seconds.
Step 1. Open the TikTok app and launch it.
Step 2. Go to the camera display. You can choose between 15s, the 60s, or 3m by swiping across the menu above the large red record button.
Step 3. Select the three-minute option and other options, and the camera will begin recording up to 3 minutes from the film within the application.
While the feature was launched in February 2022, it is not yet available to everyone.
Check if the feature is already available:
Unfortunately, if the option is not available, you don't currently have access to this feature. However, it's possible to create longer videos with TikTok as the option is available to more users.
You might need to be creative if you aren't able to squeeze as much content in as possible within the time limit of the 10-minute video. For example, upload multiple clips to the same video and crop them to make it more efficient.
How to insert multiple clips or images in one video:
Perhaps it is not the best solution to the time constraint, but it can help you squeeze more content in three minutes while you wait for the platform's 10-minute feature to roll out
